A writers club for aspiring authors. Fortnightly objects events or themes will be posted for writers to compose their stories around. The stories can be of any genre (Romance, Drama, Thriller, Comedy, Science Fiction, Detective etc) but must be 2000 words or more. The stories must be your original work, and by submitting your story to this blog you are giving me the right to publish it without charge.

- I decided it was time to try my hand at writing short stories. My friend Lindsay suggested we start a writing club and that each fortnight we write a short story about the same object or event. We take turns to choose the object or event. The only rule is the stories have to be 2000 words or more. The object or event for each assignment will be in the post title with the story title (which may be different), and author published in the post. If anyone else out there is interested in joining in I will going forward post the new object or event at the beginning of each two week period. If you wish to submit a story simply enter it as a comment and I will then publish it. Happy writing
